Kipišće Lake and park is a beloved gathering place for children and youth.
The modernly equipped Kipišće Lake and park is found in Strmec, off of Kralj Tomislava Street.
It is the perfect place to spend a day outdoors, and the ideal place for a family stroll with small children, it is equipped for the disabled, and several types of recreation are offered for children and adults.
The maintained trail around the lake is about 500 metres long, with many benches along the way, making it perfect for a light stroll for families with small children.
A special attraction on the lake are the ducks and the gracious swans, who are very sociable and love to pose at the shore. If you wish, you can offer them some corn, seeds or salad. These birds love bread, but it is not good for them, so please avoid feeding it to them.
In the park, there is a large children's playground, complete with wooden boat, seesaws, swings, climbing arena, slides and more.
Adults can enjoy some recreation on the outdoor fitness exercise machines.
Park visitors are welcome to use the wooden tables and benches.
All the trails in the park and around the lake are equipped for the disabled, and there is a lake slip enabling wheelchair access to the lake.
Kipišće Park is a frequent destination for numerous cyclists, who enjoy stopping for a rest here, or riding around the lake. There are bicycle parking stands and a free bicycle repair stand in the park.
The park is equipped with washrooms.
