The City of Sveta Nedelja is once again becoming the center of a top-level sports challenge - the Santa Domenica Spartan Trifecta Weekend (March 28-29, 2026)! This unique event brings together numerous enthusiasts of sports, recreation, and an active lifestyle.

Prepare for the ultimate test of strength and endurance!

The fearless Spartans have conquered every challenging obstacle along the course - from running through water and mud, to climbing towering walls and nets, all the way to strength and endurance trials.

Set in the heart of nature, surrounded by the peaceful environment of Lake Orešje and the banks of the Sava River, participants will have the opportunity to push their limits on courses that will take them to their very physical and mental extremes. This event offers a range of formats tailored to all levels of fitness, so everyone can join and find the challenge that suits them best.

The race includes the following disciplines:

  • Night Sprint 5K - A 5 km night race with 20 obstacles that delivers a completely new Spartan-style experience. Feel the adrenaline of nighttime competition as you conquer obstacles under the starry sky!

  • Sprint 5K - The classic Spartan Sprint: 5 km with 20 obstacles, perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike who want to test their fitness in a fast-paced challenge. This discipline is an ideal introduction to the Spartan experience.

  • Super 10K - A 10 km course featuring 25 obstacles that elevates the challenge to the next level. The Super format is intended for those seeking more and wanting to push their physical limits in a more intense environment.

  • Beast 21K - A true beast of a race: 21 km packed with 30 obstacles. The Beast format is a challenge for anyone ready to endure the ultimate physical test, rising above obstacles and fatigue to earn the title of a true Spartan.

  • Kids Race 1-3K - A specially designed race for young Spartans aged 4 to 14, where children can run, climb, carry loads, and face obstacles on courses from 1 to 3 km, depending on age. Kids will enjoy fun and challenges created especially for them.
